Senior Manager of Huobi Global Edward Chen and head of the Russian branch of the company Andrey Grachev announced at the Blockchain Life conference in St. Petersburg that the launch of the Russian-language website and local support service is scheduled for November 12. This writes Bitcoin.com.
According to them, users will be provided with round-the-clock online support. In addition, the exchange will have a Russian-language call center. The exchange also plans to create a startup accelerator in Russia and launch an educational program focused on raising awareness about cryptocurrencies and distributed registry technology. As part of the program, the company will cooperate with Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and MGIMO. Students will be able to get acquainted with the specifics of digital asset management and learn about the services of automated and algorithmic trading provided by Huobi.
The Singapore company also plans to open mining hotels in Russia, where anyone can place their devices for cryptocurrency mining, paying for the rental space plus electricity consumption.
Earlier, Huobi announced that it intends to expand its global presence, including in Africa and Asia. In October, the company confirmed that it will open a separate office in Dubai for this purpose. Like the Russian branch, it will focus not only on trading digital assets, but also on the development of blockchain projects and educational services.
In the same month, the exchange launched a tool called HUSD, which is a kind of aggregator of four stablecoins presented on its site: PAX, TUSD, USDC and GUSD.
